Contact heating elements constructed from either etched foil or wound wire heat sources laminated between silicone sheets with a self-adhesive underside for fixing. These elements are very adaptable and suited to applications with maximum temperatures of approximately 200°C.

• Wide range of power ratings, sizes and shapes
• Flexible and lightweight
• Moisture and chemical resistant
• Option to integrate a range of compact temperature-limiting thermostats within the element assembly
• Temperature sensors (eg NTC, Platinum RTD and Thermocouple) may be laminated into the element to provide integral sensing control solutions
• Option to add a range of thermal insulation backing materials (eg high temperature polymer foams) to improve thermal efficiency
• Typical applications for catering equipment include bain-maries, chocolate melting equipment and warming drawers
